T.R.A.D.E.S. (Trades Referral Assessment, Direct Employment Strategy)

T.R.A.D.E.S. offers employment assistance services and workshops to unemployed adults & youth.  We will help identify, assess & explore, your employment needs, abilities and goals.
  • We have workshops to help guide you towards meaningful employment and/or a career via apprenticeship training.

T.R.A.D.E.S. will help to facilitate a smooth transition back to work either directly or indirectly via training.

  • Our staff includes experienced employment consultants who are certified journeypersons with at least one red seal TQ certification and extensive apprenticeship experience.

  • Computers & SURF to Work:  Learn Internet strategies.
  • Transferable Trades Skills:  Learn where you can apply the skills you have!
  • Communication:  For the workplace, family and life.
  • Job Search:  Labour market info, Interview techniques.
  • Career Exploration for the Trades:  Find the trade that is right for you.
  • Canadian Adult Achievement Test:  Discover your current level of Math, English & Mechanical Reasoning.
  • Resource Centre:  Phone, fax, photocopier & computers.
  • Library:  Trade specific information, videos, periodicals, college info, etc.
  • Up-to-Date Job Board:  Local and regional job postings.

T.R.A.D.E.S. offers no-fee services to employers seeking job ready employees.
