INTERVIEW SKILLS

Interviewing is an acquired skill. You can learn how to anticipate and prepare for certain questions, and you can learn how to present yourself in the best way possible.

But as with any other skill, the more you practice and the more completely you prepare for each interview, the better you will perform and the more comfortable you will be.

Help is available through the Employment Assistance Services in Northeastern BC.  Drop in or make an appointment with an employment counsellor to practice mock interviews or to discuss the best way to answer some common questions.  If you are not in Northeastern BC, contact your nearest employment assistance service.  Service Canada will be able to help locate a service near you.
