Qualifications: |
Drivers License and abstract an asset.
Experience.
BCFSC Certified Fallers.
Pilers, 2 or 3 person F&B teams
References.
Level 1 First Aid, others good. Safe Cert Co.
Proper, maintained and insured 4x4 truck, sled, skimmer.
70cc saws +/= 24". i.e. Stihl 362?, 441, 460, 660.
Husqvarna 365, 372, 390.
Knowledge, usage of GPS, maps, photos, compass to locate
waypoints/sites.
PPE, Programmable handheld radio (wired headset ideal), all
falling gear, parts, tools, etc. Snowshoes (only 8 now,
more coming). |

Duties: |
Access, locate and fell MPB trees.
Pile and burn to SRD/QI requirements, recheck. Quality,
productive F&B'ers only.
28-48 cm x 22-29 m trees. |
