Qualifications:

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experienced nozzleman that holds valid ACI certification.
  • Any prior soil stabilization, grouting, or foundation mitigation experience.
  • Prior construction industry experience as a carpenter or framer for example is an asset.
  • Prior concrete experience such as a concrete finisher/form builder or shotcrete experience.
  • Must not be afraid of heights.
  • A Class 5 Drivers Licence with clean driving abstract.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Must possess decision making and problem solving skills by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Coordinating the Work and Activities of Others — getting members of a group to work together to accomplish tasks.
  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships — developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be physically fit and able to work in remote camp locations.
  • Outdoor work subject to extreme weather changes.
  • Must be able to work access/board equipment in areas with uneven ground or snow or soft-ground/surface water.
Duties:

Reporting the Superintendent, the Nozzleman is responsible for soil stabilization and foundation mitigation using shotcrete and/or grouting procedures.

  • Move materials on a construction site.
  • Mix, spray, run hoses, and operate shotcrete or grouting pumps.
  • Experience with operating rock drills is an asset.
  • Operate construction equipment such as all terrain forklifts, man lifts, skid steers, and front end loaders.
  • Reading and determining measurements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized construction site.
  • Working together in a team environment.
  • Ensure all equipment is accounted for daily.
  • Ensure sufficient supplies are gathered for the day.
  • Maintenance and care of all assigned equipment.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Active participation in all safety/tailgate meetings.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Job Title:

3rd or 4th Class PE Plant Operator

Qualifications:

Roska DBO is looking for a 3rd Class PE Plant Operator or a 4th class with plant experience for a major oil and gas company out of the Fort St John area. Plant processes include ifpexol refridgeration, sulphinol sweetening, acid gas injection. Condensate stabilization, gas driven power generation, all compression and generation driven by 3600 cat engines.

  • Must have residence in the Fort St John area.
  • Contract Operator (truck not required).
  • 3rd class Power Engineering ticket.
  • Minimum 5 years Plant Operator experience.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Current H2S Alive and First Aid tickets.
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean abstract.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
