Get Youth Working! Program Funds Still Available

Are you in the hiring process?

You may be eligible to receive a $2,800 hiring incentive!

The Get Youth Working! Program, funded through the Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Agreement, offers BC employers a $2,800 hiring incentive (up to 3 employees at $2,800 each) to hire eligible youth 15 to 29 years of age. Additionally, employers may request up to $1,000 to purchase training for the newly-hired youth.

Conduct your own recruiting and at any time during your recruiting process, or when you are ready to hire, complete and submit an online application.  The approval process is quick and easy and if you and your proposed new hire meet the program criteria, you are eligible for the funding!

No complicated paperwork!  Once approved, the $2,800 hiring incentive is disbursed to you in three equal payments over the first three months of employment.

Please review the employer and youth eligibility requirements at www.getyouthworking.ca
